About Us
Our Mission
The mission of the MiHSE is to provide education, support, and facilitate communication among all Health Science instructors within the State of Michigan. MiHSE will work to support secondary and postsecondary health science standards as set forth by the State of Michigan and National Health Science Educator Association.
Our Impact
The 100 plus member teachers of MiHSE provide education to thousands of students each year. These students go on to post-secondary institutions to become physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and radiology professionals. Many others enter the workforce with the certifications that they earn during their programs, including pharmacy technicians, medical assistants, phlebotomists, CNAs, and patient care technicians. Our members provide hundreds of hours of hands-on training at local hospitals and other health care facilities with their students.
